Spring has sprung! I love spring and all the green coming out. It's getting chilly again today, but the air is filled with pollen, and the trees have a green tint to their branches.
I don't even remember how I came across this post, but I absolutely love it. What to do when God seems complicated
It's maple syrup season! Well, not here. It's too hot here. But somewhere up north, they are tapping the trees and boiling the sap. I love maple syrup, I love it a lot more than honey. I wish I would develop a taste for honey. Anyway, I found this roundup post of all things maple syrup, and some of these recipes sound so good, like the Maple Pecan Baked Brie(!), or the Oven Roasted Maple Salmon. Just the names make my mouth water. 31 Creative Maple Syrup Recipes
This post is written by my roommate in college. We had the best time together back then. Andrea and her family moved way, way, way up north so that her husband Erik could attend seminary. They have been called to plant a church. Andrea has a beautiful way with words, and I absolutely love reading about their life at the seminary. Saying Yes Together

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the Dayspring pictures
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Your little one reminds me of my grandson. Coda who seems to fall asleep on the couch every night at 7pm. Up here in Maine we have yet to see any trees blossom. We have been able to boil maple syrup. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your cute family.
